I was born in Calgary, Alberta at a young age, and lived there until I was two. I wasn’t old enough to remember, but I have great faith in my parents’ word. They tell me I was a pretty easy going kid, and that I enjoyed sitting in my dad’s home office, watching him work for hours on end. My dad was working and going to school to become a structural engineer at the time. Road trips have been my favorite since day one.
In 1997, my parents and I moved to Lethbridge, and two years later, my little brother was born. He and I turned out to be very different. He has always been a daredevil, and I am more cautious. He likes math and science, and I like English and Social Studies.

When I was about eight years old, my parents made the decision to move our family to the country. That was one of the best things that ever happened to me. I loved having so much room to run around and explore, and I especially loved having animals. I have found that living on the acreage taught me a lot of good lessons in life. I learned to take responsibility for the lives of the animals I had to take care of, and I learned to take quiet time to think and talk to God. I learned the value of working hard, and how good it feels to finish a job well.
My favorite animals on our acreage were the cats. |
My family has recently made the decision to move to Nicaragua to do agricultural and mission work. We have moved into town again, and are downsizing to prepare for the move.

My favorite food is nutella, my favorite animal is a duck, and I absolutely love superhero movies!
